1. Who we are and what this covers
Local Finder LLC (“we,” “us”) operates localfindertx.com and the Finder directory Editions, including WestSide Finder (westsidefinder.com), Permian Finder (permianfinder.com), and any other Finder edition we launch, such as Hill Country West Finder and Highland Lakes Finder. This notice explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Each Edition also has its own Privacy Notice that lists that Edition’s forms and providers in detail. If an Edition’s notice is more specific about something on that Edition, it controls for that Edition.
2. localfindertx.com
localfindertx.com is an information page about the Editions. It has no forms and no accounts, it does not set cookies of its own, and it does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels.
To show the page, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Those providers receive standard request data, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page that asked for the file, and handle it under their own privacy policies. Our hosting and domain providers also receive standard request data and keep logs for security and operations.
3. What the Editions collect
What you type into forms. Edition sites have forms such as quote and info requests, listing claims, removal requests, suggestions, and sign-ups. Depending on the form, they ask for your name, email address, phone number, business name, town or ZIP code, website, and notes about what you need.
Email you send us. If you write to support@westsidefinder.com or another Edition address, we receive your message and email address. Edition addresses forward to the same support inbox.
Payments. Featured and Priority plans are paid through Stripe’s checkout and billing pages. Stripe collects and processes your card and billing details under its own privacy policy. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive limited details from Stripe, such as your name, email, business name, plan, and payment status, so we can run your listing.
Technical data. Our hosting and network providers receive standard request data when you visit, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and time, and keep logs for security and operations. The Editions do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels, and we do not build profiles from this data.
Public business information. Listings contain business names, categories, towns, addresses, phone numbers, and similar facts from public sources and from owners.
4. How we use it
- to respond to your messages and requests, and to check claims, removals, and suggestions;
- to pass a request to the business it is meant for, when you send one through a listing;
- to check listings and the Locally Verified badge, and to confirm that a person speaks for a business;
- to bill and manage paid plans through Stripe;
- to operate, secure, and improve the Sites and prevent spam and abuse; and
- to meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
6. How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was sent for, for records of claims, removals, payments, and opt-outs, to resolve disputes, and to meet legal and tax obligations. Then we delete or de-identify it.
7. Your choices and requests
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@westsidefinder.com. We may need to confirm the request is yours. We aim to respond within 45 days. We may keep information that the law requires us to keep or that we need for a legal claim or to honor an opt-out.
Texas and some other states give residents rights such as access, correction, deletion, and opting out of sales, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or profile you, and we are glad to honor these requests whether or not a particular law requires it. If we deny a request, reply to our message to appeal and we will take another look.
To stop marketing email, use the unsubscribe link in the message or email us. To have a business listing changed or removed, use the Edition’s claim or removal page or email us.
8. Children
The Sites are for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email support@westsidefinder.com and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and limited access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee security.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. If a change is material, we will say so on this page.
